Class Overview
This is a four-hour course geared toward the student new to the training environment to give them the pre-requisites needed to advance in their journey.  
This course will focus on safety, gun-handling skills, holsters, magazine pouches, loading, reloading, and malfunctions. This course will encourage the shooter to focus on the process of running the gun in an efficient manner while not fixating on what appears on the target. Throughout the course, safety and gun-handling skills will be monitored with steps taken to improve those basic skill sets required to build a solid foundation.
Prerequisites
There are no pre-requisites for this class.

Gear Requirements

• Semi-auto service pistol (9mm recommended but not required) **No Rimfire**
• 150 rounds of ammunition
• Kydex, outside-the-waistband holster with sturdy belt.(no shoulder, cross draw, or middle of the back holsters)
• At least two (2) magazines with at least one (1) carrier
• Electronic hearing protection
• Eye protection
• Ballcap
• Snacks and hydration
